We firmly believe that poverty is not an inescapable trap, and that development, poverty reduction and the promotion of community wellbeing depend mostly on accountable, transparent and inclusive policies and practices that empower and build the capacities of Civil Society Organizations and Community Groups to actively participate in the social, economic and political processes of their communities without any restriction based on gender, age, religious and political affiliation.
